macromedia players flash: I am trying to run a program and i have ran it on my other computers in my
house and they have worked perfectly but on this desktop keep getting an error
message saying "Unable to open file "C:......" becasue it is already open with
write permission by another user". This is the only user i have on this
computer and i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Flash player. Can
somebody please help me

I'm sorry i can't help, but i'm having the same exact problem....

I've tried many different things, but nothing seems to work.

I was wondering if you had figured it out already, then could you tell me how
you did it?

Or if somebody else can help the two of us out, it would be greatly
appreciated!

same thing here instead of a program its a internet game (ex. http://www.addictinggames.com/badaboom.html ) when a dialog pops up with a red x and says;

Shockwave

Unable to open file
"http://www.addictinggames.com/D78AQSAKQLQWI9/1706.dcr"
because it is already open with write permission by another user

I'm running vista with IE 7 and other games don't work either. I hope I've provided enough info for someone that can help all 3 of us plus future issues.
