flash (alternate):
i did look for the FAQ, but the one link I found to "Arty's" FAQ was
broken, so I apologize if these have already been asked

1. can a flash applet (are they called applets?) in the browser use
more than one OS thread?
2. can a flash applet in the browser get audio input (via mic) from the
user?
3. make TCP and UDP requests?
4. access the file system?

tcp requests? file system? sound like you want to spy on someone. but i
would like to know if flash does het audio input from mic...

hi flash can get audio and video input from mic , web camera , video
camera attached to the pc using Microphone class for audio and Camera
class for video

Flash's security model doesn't allow it to access the file system on
the local machine.

You can make HTTP requests, but you cannot do anything that would allow
you to spy on someone.
