I reinstalled it and got the same result. So I went to Admin tools /
services and guess what : it wasn't even started, simply deactivated. XP is
some weird beast.
Anyway, now I can start my FTP site and showed the proper route (21) to my
router. Somehow, yesterday evening, somebody outside was able to access it
as anonymous but today, from work, can't access either my FTP nor my wwroot.
We don't have a firewall at work (just a small place where's the boss
doesn't invest in computers ;()
Just came back from work, and nothing shows. The logfile shows this :
