Common virtual directory across FTP accounts ??? abrown

iis ftp:
Hello,

I use the IIS FTP on Windows 2003 Server. I would like to have the
following architecture:

ftproot
\-- localusers
\-- user1
\-- pub (virtual directory to public\ folder)
\-- user2
\-- pub (virtual directory to public\ folder)
\-- user3
\-- pub (virtual directory to public\ folder)
\-- public

The issue is the following:
- either I don't declare the 'pub' folder on the filesystem below the
users folders and I don't see it when browsing the FTP user account
- or I do create a 'pub' folder under the 'user<x>' folder but when I
put some file there via FTP they are not put in the 'public\' folder.

Any idea ?

Thanks,

If you created a virtual directory 'public' and granted permissions for
users to access. however, since virtual directory by default is 'hidden'
hence users will not be able to see it.

if you need it to be 'shown', I'm afraid you need to create a folder with
the same name 'public' in each of the user home directory.
