iis ftp : "no name" file

I have an FTP site set up on our server, with domain authentication
required.

All works well, but one user has a problem wherein he accesses the site,
validates successfully, "drills down to the folder and then is unable to
download due to a "parameter error"

In the folder in question, there appears a file, with no name, length of 0
and a creation date of 1/1/1980 12:00 PM. This shows up using a browser or
through the command prompt.

This file does not appear to anyone else, and does not exist on the server.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

JM
