iis ftp : cant set up ftp

hi, i creaated an ftp virtual directory named mydir, i am a dsl user so my pc
is behind a router whenver i access the ftp share using my 10.0.0.1 ip
everything works fine however when i try to access it using my real ip i cant
see anything and get this error: "530 cant change directotry to /mydir/: -2"

Post related ftp log file entries here.
default log path %windir%/system32/logfiles/msftpsvcX/

X - is the site id.

If you can use the private IP spcae address of 10.0.0.1 and it works,
FTP is working. If you're trying to access FTP from inside your
network using the external IP, your router probably s not allowing you
out to get back in (common). There's no real reason to worry about
that. If you're trying from outside your network, then likely your
router isn't correctly forwarding your external IP.
