General FTP command question - dir/ls

When I do a dir or ls command the filename is case sensitive.
Is there any way I can tell ftp to made the command not case sensitive?

I have successfully setup the FTP service on my Windows 2003 Server.
Everything works fine.
Now I am not happy with FTP using Port 21. In IIS I was able to change the
default Port 21 to another one, for example 2121. Guess whats happening...

Would anyone know how to allow a user who enters our ftp server to 'view'
the thubmiail versions of our images...?
While it is possible to 'enable' this via the 'view' menu it does not show
up as a thumbnail in the folder view....
Is there a way for me to achieve this?

Hello,
I'm looking at the log of our FTP site and it shows entries dated today, 6PM
which is strange considering that its only 1pm so far. What's with that?
I've noticed the same thing on the IIS website logs as well. Any ideas?

I discovered that if you give a virtual directory the
same name as a user, the server will automatically cd to
that directory when the user logs in. I am using IIS5
server on Windows 2000.
I cant find this documented anywhere so I have a couple

I've tried three times to install the FTP service on my Server 2003 machine.
I went through the Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Add/Remove Windows
Components.
Everything appears to go fine but the service never shows up. I've
restarted the server and still nothing.

I am using IIS 6.
My ftp-client program can resume upload without any problem while it is
running in Intranet.
But it does not run smoothly through Internet. It gets the error:

Hiya, basically someone enabled FTP on our ISS server but forgot to take
off anonymous access. All of a sudden our disk space started
dissapearing!

I have a customer who needed a FTP site. I can access it just fine (I
always use command line though). He can't access it through a web
browser. I have checked on my firewall as he tries to access the site,
and no errors pop up.

saying Anonymous Access Not Allowd. However, they need to be seeing the ftp
