Date and time incorrect in the log file Amit

iis ftp: Hello,
I'm looking at the log of our FTP site and it shows entries dated today, 6PM
which is strange considering that its only 1pm so far. What's with that?
I've noticed the same thing on the IIS website logs as well. Any ideas?
Thanks
amit

Move five time zones to your right... :)

Logs are GMT, as per the W3 standards.

Note that GMT / UTC is chosen for this purpose, not only because it is the
standard basis for time-zone calculations, but also because it does not use
daylight savings time. GMT is not the same as British Time, except that the
two are the same during British Time's winter half.

P.S. For the truly nitpicky, UTC and GMT are not exactly the same - they are
different by a few seconds. They are, however, essentially the same for
most purposes.
