The user in question doesn't have sufficient permissions to perform
those operations on the directory in question.

Now I have my FTP server up and running
I have forbidden Anonymous connection, that's the only setting I change

I can't do nothing, mkdir, put, etc ...
all return 550 Access is denied

I have tryed to log as my ftp user and do normal operation, it just work
though ...

what could it be ?

Well then, the user didn't have sufficient permissions to perform the
required operation. Didn't I already say that ?

That's probably because you have Simple File Sharing enabled, which is
the default setting. Read this KB article :

How to disable simplified sharing and set permissions on a shared
folder in Windows XP

yes it had!
I found the problem in home directory there is a checkbox to enable user
write access

Anyway I know you've the concept of read/write acces on Windows XP, but
can't find anyway to give access to some protion of my file system to some
user... (and yes it's NTFS)
where could I set up per file, per user access ?
