I can't move/copy the ftproot folder to my D drive on the same ftp server. I manually stopped the IIS services and I disconnected the network cable from the server, but I still can't copy the folder to the other drive. The two drives are Dynamic. Can anyone help in this matter? Al

no I haven't tried that, but all I want to do is move the contents of the folder to a differnt drive. I need the space on the C drive and moving that folder will free up 20 gigs, currently the C drive is full. The FTP service may be holding some files open in the root directory. Try setting the FTP service to disabled and re-booting the machine and then copy/move the FTP root. Then re-start the FTP service and see what happens. Regards, Paul Lynch

Have you tried creating a new FTP root, configuring IIS to use that new root and then copying the files over once you have re-started the IIS FTP service ? Regards, Paul Lynch

Try a Windows admin group, this is a file issue. Just because the files are your FTP root doesn't change that. How full ? Any copy/move operations may fail if there isn't sufficient free space on the system drive. You may need to delete some files on the C drive before you proceed. Regards, Paul Lynch
