Hi,

I'd like to get FTP to authenticate using a Microsoft SQL table. I
want to do this because we have a web site that inputs
username/password to a SQL table. It would be great if I can used use
that information to have our web users login to an FTP server.

I have been able to get a database driven login to work with ProFTPd
and MySQL, but I would like to use the already existing database
instead of replicating the data.

Thanks,
Bernard

Nope, IIS FTP doesn't allow you to customize on this part.

Might be able to with a third party FTP server.

Work with the ProFTPd support folks to change the database then. The
Microsoft FTP server doesn't support a database for authentication, so
you'll need to find an alternate product.
