Hi,

I have a FTP server setup on my SBS 2000 server, and I tried to connect
to my server ourside of the network and it works perfectly.
However, when those MAc clients tried to connect to my FTP site, and it came
out an error message said " The finder cannot complete the operation because
some data in FTP://ftp.xxx.com/ could not be read or written. error code 36.
"
DO I need to setup a special way for Mac client on my SBS FTP server? I do
setup an indivdual vitural server for each individual folder and users for
my FTP site. Would that be MAc client would take the NT authication or some
sort ? Can anyone help me on this.. Thank you.

Macs work fine on my FTP (OS/X), perhaps you're dealing with a
passive/active issue that the Mac isn't getting. Might try a Mac
group to find what the error 36 is.

freeware ftp clients for Mac and see if you get the same errors. I am
