Hi.

root directory.
I don't have problem in public access, but i can't log validated users. Per
uuser i create a dir, ej for user xxx the dir is w:\inetpub\localuser\xxx.

Jeff, this doc help me, but even with this i have problems.

In the configuration of my ftp site the root is i.e. w:\ftproot, y make a
dir named w:\ftproot\localuser.
After that i create this:
w:\ftproot\localuser\public
w:\ftproot\localuser\john
The anonymous user conect fine but the autenticates user don't.
Ftp client says "User john cannot log in, home directory inaccessible."
I test creating dirs like:
w:\ftproot\localuser\john@domainname
w:\ftproot\domainname\john

Tnks.

Check the home directory permission and make sure has access to it
also try ftp locally at the server itself before trying from remote mac
machine.

It could the directory name -
if john is local user then use localuser\john
if john belong to domain 'aa' then it should be aa\john

Use filemon (sysinternals.com) to trace and find out
where directory the IIS FTP is sending the user to...
