Cannot download from an ftp site

We have a site that one of our library members requires
access to. You can only access this site and download the
contents if you bypass the proxy server.
When i have a look in ISA and check the protocol
definitions there are the following in there:
FTP Download only
Gopher
Http

Hi,
I'd like to get FTP to authenticate using a Microsoft SQL table. I
want to do this because we have a web site that inputs
username/password to a SQL table. It would be great if I can used use

Hello all
We just upgraded our ftp server to IIS6 on 2003 from IIS5 on 2000. We have
a webcam that uploads an image with a .tmp extension. The file is then
renamed to the file name used on the website.
We are getting the following error messages in the log files.

Hi,
I have to type domain name\user name to log in to my FTP
server. How can I get rid of the domain name? How can I
set the default domail name so users don't have to type
it when log on?

I have installed iis6 on a 2003 standalone server.
I am attempting to allow users to upload files to their folders on the web
server.
I have assigned the users full control rights to their individual folders
but they are unable to upload any files.

I have my FTP site set up and working but I cannot
configure it to ask for a username and password. I have a

Hi,
Using IIS6 I setup FTP users so they are restricted to there own FTP root
(defined in user profile + using the FTP server configuration wizard) so
they cant access other peoples DIR by going back through the directory
structure.
I need to setup each user root within there own ftproot DI... more >>

i'm built over 12 ftp sites using the isolation without AD option.
i checked all the permissiom for the files i need to have access to.

Windows 2000 Adv Server running IIS 5.0 with all the
patches. when uploading serveral small files I get the
message Connection Closed by remote host. I have tried
with multiple clients and still get the same intermittant

I'm having a very hard time connecting to 2 of these 3 program. I can only
connect to FTP Surfer but can't with CoffeeFTP or SmartFTP. For SmartFTP,
it kept saying this... What does this mean and what can I do about it? Any
clue?? I would like to use CoffeeFTP. Is there a better program then ... more >>

I can access as anonymous login - but obviously i would like user/pass
