Got Win2000 DC running IIS
Got Linksys dsl/cable router
Web server is working properly
Locally on DC using IE to log onto FTP site give error
Make sure you have permission to access that folder

Our ftp servers are hit heavily by the our user community. When we used IIS
4 (NT4) and IIS5 (Windows 2000), we ran into the limitation of 100 current

Hi.
I configure ftp site isolated (w/o AD). I create de dir localuser in te
root directory.
I don't have problem in public access, but i can't log validated users. Per
uuser i create a dir, ej for user xxx the dir is w:\inetpub\localuser\xxx.

access via the iis properties and permissions to folder. A second user is

If I shut down almost everything else is NT 4.0 (fully patched) secure
enough to run FTP and www on one box that has no other job function.
I have it in a DMZ with firewall on each side. I can access it from inside
net via FTP if that is necessary to maintain security

ftp IBM variable length files and if there is any special
requirements for the ftp process to retain the record
descriptor word (RDW).
