iis ftp: Hello.

I have an FTP server set up on a w2003 machine. There are 2 NICS one
internal and one external. The external is using the RRAS firewall and
allows FTP access.

The issue is when people try to get access to our FTP server sometimes it
doesn't work. For example at home I have to disable the passive setting in
IE to get access and on another machine elsewhere it requires the Passive
mode selected. This is turning into an Administrative nightmare. I need it
to work for both. I have an ftp site setup at home that works on both
passive and active mode as well as many others on the web.

Please help! I need to make this a reliable connection for our customers.

If it's working for one client and not for another, it's not your
server or firewall. It's likely their own firewall or client
software.
