I need to create virtual folders under isolated mode FTP server (IIS 6). MMC does not show ANY folders under the isolate root folder! Thanks!
IIS 6.0 MMC will not permit you to create a virtual folder. Nor does it show
any folders that may already exist. It appears that for isolated mode FTP site, MMC or IIS 6.0 completely ignore the file system. I had to use LINKD to accomplish what was needed, but I don't like the idea that someone could come along in explorer and think these folders actually exist. I want to use FTP virtual folders for this. Thanks! what isolation mode you using ?

Since you can't change isolation mode after you create the site, MMC doesn't
seem to bother to show you what you set up should you forget. I saved the configuration to an XML file wherein I found this: UserIsolationMode="1" But when I right-click I don't get the menu that creates Virtual Folders. Works fine in non-isolated sites, so I assumed it was some kind of brain-dead restriction. If you can tell me there is no such restriction, I'll have to dig deeper, maybe reinstall the IIS MMC plugins? Thanks for your help! I can't repro on my IIS 6, I have tested 3 different types of isolation and
