iis ftp:
Can someone please explain how to use Metabase Explorer for IIS 6.0 to
input the correct default domain for ftp users?

I have downloaded it and tried several conventions for the
defaultlogondomain. Ie. domain, domain\, @domain.local, @domain,
domain

Please help.

Use this method to configure -
FTP Service's DefaultLogonDomain Not Available in MMC
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=184319

to be safe, restart ftp service, then test your domain login.
