Hi,
i've a web server with installed windows 2000 server.
I've created two user:
user1 and user2 in the user group ftpuser
I've an iis ftp defalut directory (c:/Web) and two more directory inside
(C:/web/user1) and (C:/web/user2)
In IIS i've configured two virtual ftp server user1 and user2 that point to
the two dir.
I try to exclude the user to view the root directory and it's content
(C:/web) but i have not been able to do it.

Configure the ftp root to some dummy folder. e.g. d:\ftpdummy\>
create two virtual directory and map to the user folders.
when users login, by design virtual directory is not listed in dir list,
user has to enter the folder 'blindly'.

Take a look at:

How To Set Up an FTP Site So That Users Log Onto Their Folders:

Using Virtual Directories you can hide them even further.
