iis ftp : Write Errors to FTP Site
running Win 2003 Web Server Edition and have given FULL CONTROL to the test accounts in NTFS Permissions. I keep getting Error 550 Access is denied. Even logging into the site as Admin fails. Any suggestions?
i'm having the same problem,
and great pressure from the top already.. any helps you got there? To fix my ftp writing issue, I had to check "WRITE" not only on individual
ftp sites, but also the "FTP Sites" root folder. If you don't enable that, even NTFS permissions won't allow writing, or at least that was my case. Can any other user able to write ?

The filemon tool will help you track down the related access error.

Solve !
Good news..the case is solved. The issue is not with the IIS 6.0 or Windows 2003 Web Edition. It was with our ISA server. We need to open the FTP write access on the ISA rule, even when port TCP 21 is allowed. thanks Bernard Thanks a million!
