User being LOCKED! -- iis ftp

Hi friends,

I have a FTP Server that I access via Internet Explorer, and asking for
authentication.

But, everytime I access and the IE ask for user and password, I put the
information right and can´t log in becouse my user is lockout!!!
Always!!!

This is not normal at all.

I set to block with 5 times wrong password, but gat lockout again, and I
type the password just ONCE!!!

Help me, please!

What OS ? IIS 5 ? do users has logon locally right ?
try connect via command line tool. ftp.exe

c:\>ftp.exe yourserverip

do you see login prompt?
what error you got ? 530 ?
