iis ftp : FTP service doesn't start

Hi, i have a Win 2000 server machine whit the ftp service running but i
supouse that the service should starts when windows starts and it doesn't.

When i restart the machine the services appers to be running but i try to
connect by ftp and an error occurs: the ocnection was close for remote host

I restart the services and all works fine. does exists a hotfix for this
problem??

Do you see anything when you 'telnet yourftpserver 21' ?

and are you connecting to the correct port ?
