Hi

I must be stupid or sth but in spite of reading loads of bumph, I can't work
out how to access ftp with a named account

When I configure FTP to not allow 'anonymous' access, how do I set up named
accounts with a password instead

Thanks in advance

Dave Neve

Create UserAccounts (and passwords) for the wanted accounts on the PC....
then give appropriate permissions for the folders/directories you need them
to access in the IIS MMC in the FTP site.

By "named" accounts you mean creating FTP user accounts and using that
account instead of anonymous users.
