Sudden connection issues with my ftp site...suspect XP SP2

I've been running a ftp site on NT, IIS 4 since it was new. Never had a
problem. Ran an UNIX one on a RISC server before that. What seemed like all
of a sudden, I recieved calls from clients that could not longer connect
using IE 6. Low and behold, I could not connect locally with IE 6 either.... more >>

I want to set up an ftp site on SBS 2003 Std, IIS 6 that allows me to
provide a link to my customers that will allow them to a specific
directory only, but will not allow them to browse that ftp site.

Users are isolated with active directory user isolation and have their ftp
home directory. They can access it by reading the content.
How can I manage to give them write access as well?

Can change this option easily on the 'default site properties' option
window.
But when trying to change the same option in "master properties" for all ftp

the option is greyed out.

I have in the past but am no longer able to FTP using IE - but I can using
DOS.
I am in a location where there is a Netscreen Firewall - and the Network
where the server is located also has a netscreen firewall.

Am I missing something? I have created an FTP site using AD Isolation, but
cant find where to set the FTPRoot and FTPDir properties. I am assuming it
will be in the properties for the user in AD Users and Computers?

Just got my Windows 2003 server and created an ftp account under regular
isolation mode--worked fine. Then I created a second ftp account using the

list before rebuilding my ftp server. The current server is Windows 2000
Server and I used IIS to create the ftp services and create user accounts.

currently all my log files for the FTP users are reporting the wrong time.
for example an ftp user joe is logged in 4:00 AM and the lof files showing
a tottaly different time. Is there a setting on IIS where you set up time
for FTP. My ftp site is build on a Win 2003 server.

My new FTP user is sucessfully updating their own website on our IIS 6 box.
I followed what I think are the well published procedures to make it happen.
- New Windows Level User: JoeFTPUser (no group memberships, just FTP)
