iis ftp : Active Directory user isolation and write access

Users are isolated with active directory user isolation and have their ftp
home directory. They can access it by reading the content.

How can I manage to give them write access as well?

Thanks a lot. I thought it would be easy. Really?

Full control or Modify NTFS rights for the user on the home directory,
plus Write access in the FTP settings for the site on the home
directoy tab.

I should also add you need to have write permissions on the virtual
directories as well if you use them.

Jeff,

users do have full control on the home directory. There is no home directory
tab for the site. Only the above folder FTP-Sites does have such a tab.

I also tried to add a virtual directory to the site pointing to the home
directory with write access. But no success.

Interesting. Now, do you get 550 access denied when try to upload a file?

Can you get filemon (sysinternals.com) and run it on the server where the
user home folder reside ?
then check the trace log and see if you see any access denied entry.
