for win adv server2k, iis5.0
used all the default ftp site settings, except changed port to 2121
opened up port 2121 on my firewall, for tcp/udp,
the error msg ends with 'make sure you have permission to access folder'
200 type set to a
500 invalid port command

When it's accessed from outside the nw(inside it works), one gets an error
occurred opening that folder on the FTP server. Make sure you have permission
to access that folder. Details: A connection could not be established. This
is with IE.

I have a web server owned and setup by the ISP UK2. I have set up an
ftp site on it. I can log into it from the command prompt and windows
explorer. However, in windows explorer when the status line has shown
"getting contents of folder" for ten to fifteen seconds a timeout
message appears.

Internally on the same LAN or from an external source. I am behind a router

I think this is setup by default but I would like a way to overwrite the file
on a rename command with FTP. Here is my setup and scenario:
Windows 2003 web edition server
FTP file called temp.jpg and rename the file to image.jpg (this works the
