for win adv server2k, iis5.0
used all the default ftp site settings, except changed port to 2121
opened up port 2121 on my firewall, for tcp/udp,

the error msg ends with 'make sure you have permission to access folder'
200 type set to a
500 invalid port command
500 'lprt 6,16,0,0,0,0,0,0,9,4,0,0,0,0,34,113,2,8,204' command not
understood

i noticed the default driveLetter:/inetpub/ftproot/ folder, default is no
sharing for web, so i tried allowing web access
but still no access

this should be easy right?

thanks bc, switched back to port 21 and voila, the article didn't mention
any solution when using port numbers >1023
ever hear anything for that?
and btw, i would vote for renaming this forum bc's super shop, i had read
some other posts looking for an answer and you
were there more times than not,
many many thanks for super support

Errr. there are other experts in this group as well, I'm just 'too' free.
Now, regarding your question. it's the NAT device that not working
correctly, you can bind it to other ports if the NAT is suppose to do what
it needs to do. Here's one long discussion with experts' explaination:
