Hi everyone. I am looking for a way to disable FTP restarts in IIS 6 -
preferably for uploads only, but if anyone knows of a way to do it for
uploads and downloads that would be fine too.

The problem we are having is we have an application where the clients FTP
files up to the server. If the upload does not complete successfully, then
"half of a file" is left up on the FTP server. The application on the FTP
server then processes the file thinking it is a complete file and the
application fails. This app was written for IIS 5 and under that version the
entire file either appeared there or it did not.

Does anyone know of a way to disable FTP restarts? Perhaps a registry edit
or metabase edit?

Thanks in advance,

AFAIK, this is control by client side. Haven't see a setting on server site
yet.
