iis ftp:
Kinda new to this since I've been in the Novell world for the last 6
years.
I setup a 2003 R2 server with IIS & FTP service. This servers main
purpose is just for file/print. FTP was installed due to some DOS
based program at the site that needs to be able to FTP into the 2003
server to dump some files. Basically I dont care if the FTP is
accessible with a web browser. I have an Active Directory account
created for this DOS machine with its home folder created and has no
problems accessing it. If I log in to an XP box with the DOS programs
AD account, everything is great. I can get to the assigned home
folder. When I run the
ftp 10.15x.xx.xx <--server IP address
type in DOS programs username in AD
type in the password set in AD
I get a failure stating that the home folder is inaccessible?
I know I'm missing something, I just dont know what yet. Any help
would be appreciated. Thanks

Not clear what is your problem here.
So FTP.exe works for local user but not AD user?
are you using any user isolation feature?
have you try filemon to track where does IIS FTP sending the user to ?
does the user has sufficient access right on the home folder?
