success. Other than creating an ODBC connection or DTS to sql server and

I recently reinstalled Win 2003 web server on a computer and of course the
FTP site that I had setup went away with it. Anyway, I set it up again but am

I run IS 6 and FTP in isolation mode. Now if someone uses IE7 and goes to
our FTP site then instead of being prompted for a username/password they get

In my ftp folder I have a directory with no name (I can't delete it by the
way) and in it a bunch of files that start off as %# Tag Aux. I think I've
been hacked in some way. The files are easily deleted but the directory

I can see from the logfiles that there are evil peoble trying to get access
to out ftp server (W2003), and I am suprised that they are able to try a new
password so fast, I would have expected that the windows security system
would increase the delay every time a wrong password were given.

Here's what I've done:
- setup the AD isolated FTP site
- set for a test user FTPRoot as \\server\users
- set for a test user FTPDir as 'username'
- Everyone has RX access to \\server\users
- Test user has Change access to his 'username' directory
