Error Message 'the network bios session limit was exceeded' -- iis ftp

I got this error message from time to time in ftp using a network share.When
this happens I can nor open any network connection to this remote system.
When I try doing it in windows explorer at this moment the same error message
appears. I searchend the internet and found that this can happen when a
netzwork share is used in IIS without UNC Path. But I checked everything in
IIS and other applications twice and the only network path usesd is in this
one virtual ftp directoy. But it is entered there as an UNC path. When I
reboot the system it works sometime but after a while the error appears
again.
It seems that after a while there is a problem with the opened smb
connection that IIS makes for the virtual ftp directory.
Does anyone have an idea what can cause this problem or how I can avoid
running into this error again.

Not sure what's going on, but you can try your luck here.
