%# Tag Aux -- iis ftp

In my ftp folder I have a directory with no name (I can't delete it by the
way) and in it a bunch of files that start off as %# Tag Aux. I think I've
been hacked in some way. The files are easily deleted but the directory
won't delete at all. It reads this when I try to delete it: Cannot delete
file: Cannot read from the source file or disk. I turned off writing
permissions to this site. Any help is appreciated.

Since your machine has been compromised, I suggest a rebuild.
For those files/folders, you can try.
You cannot remove suspicious folders from the FTP file structure
