Force IIS FTP to use a diffrent IP Tiru

iis ftp:
Hi,

Is there ANY way to force the IIS FTP to always send another IP-address than
the one configured on the machine? Some FTP clients just ignore the IP sent
to the client and use the IP it connected to. These servers are on a private
net and are using NAT and the servers must have its own ip's and not the NAT
machine.

Cheers

Yes, thats what i wanted and we have thesame problem, am reading and
forwarding this to my FW guys to see what they say :) Using private networks
behind NAT that need to be connected.

Btw, you posted a link to some ms page, that link does not work anymore?

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/windowsserver2003/proddocs/standard/ref_reg_ftpservice.asp

Cause its not going anyware special. do you know what it was about (and if
it could help us out)?

Thanks alot Bernard for your help.

Thanks!

Yes, its a real mess with the ms redirect system, lots and lots of pages
missing, even linked from their diffrent sites completly off :)

Well... the link is working now, however dont help us out much :( Its about
ports, and problem is nat adress :)

Have already set the passive range... Will have to check some more on our FW
/ NAT sys.

If just everyone could use flashFXP or FileZilla 3 then there would not be
any problem but as its alot of different clients and batchjobs, thats not
possible to set that requirment.

Thanks alot for your help
