iis ftp:
Hi,

I have a standalone server running a FTP site that is connected to the
optional port on my firewall - running user isolation etc..

All works great for the external customers coming in - each only has
access to their own directory etc..

What I need to be able to do though is to have a logon that allows me
top level access to all the folders so my guys can upload their files
into the respective directories for our customers.

I can only seem to logon with usernames of the folders created under:-

\ftproot\localuser...

Thanks
Colin

In that case, create a virtual directory which map to the root level, and
make sure your guys have related NTFS permissions to access all folders.
Even if your customer get hold of the directory name, they will not able to
access others folder coz they have no permission on it.
so you need to configure the proper NTFS permissions.
