iis ftp:
Hi all,

I'm trying to configure an FTP directory on my Windows 2000 SP4 server that
will allow a particular group of users read/write access and deny read/write
to anyone who is not in that group and am having trouble. I've done the
following:
a) Created a new folder, removed all groups and added only
Administrator and the group needing access, we'll call it "new_folder".
b) Created a new FTP site and pointed it to new_folder. Placed
a check in the Read and Write boxes.
c) Disabled Anonymous login for the FTP site.

The result is that only Administrator users can see the directory and no
users (including Administrators) can upload data. Users not in the admin
group get a "Page Cannot be Displayed" error and cannot even see the
directory. What else am I missing to get this to work? By the way I'm
accessing the site from a Windows XP Pro SP2 machine.

I should add a couple more details. When the Anonymous box is checked, all
users can see and add content with no problem. The problem only occurs when
Anonymous is unchecked. Thanks again.
