I am in the process of installing IIS FTP ervice on sbs 2003. I hve never
worked with IIS 6.0. I have 17 folders that I created in the FTP ROOT for my
clients. I configured there user accounts, and I am not sure I did it
correcty. I cannot access these folders via the internet. Even when I try

Thanks for the prompt response Chris, I think I figured out the problem. I
had done several things, but what made the difference I think - was the users
were part of group called customers, and that group unknowingly to me was
disabled. Now I have never worked with this before, so I did not know how to
enable the group. so I removed them from it, and it worked. I have a few more
tests to run tonight, but to the best of my knowledge, it is going to work.
If not, I will be back. Thanks for your help my friend.

You could be running into problems with the standard users since they are
trying to log on to the FTP server (which is actually locally to the Domain
Controller (SBS))

Your administrator account should be working without issue.

Do you have any issues with logging in locally from the SBS box itself with
either your administrator account or the users?

Did you enable any isolation mode for the FTP server?

What error message does the FTP server return? Denied Access, or Home
Directory Inaccessable?
