iis ftp : ftp client timeout

I'm having a problem with the timout on the Win 2k3 server ftp client
session. I'm running a scheduled procedure and if any Remote-Command step of
the script takes more than 60 seconds, Windows is closing the FTP connection
but blaming the remote system. In my case, this is an AS/400. IBM traced
the fault to the client on the localhost, not the remote host. If there
isn't a registry hack or a command line option, I'm going to have to look at
non-windows ftp clients.

TIA
