This problem just cropped up.
I have a window2003 server running IIS/FTP,
The server has about 20 virtual directories for FTP that have been working
fine for about a year. Today, when a user tries to login via ftp, the

I have set up a FTP site on our SBS2000 system.
I tested ftp.localhost in DOS and via IE from inside the business. Both
work and with the AD user: fred, password: password.
From outside the site the connection asks for a Username and Password but

By accident I discovered that if I create a user and a folder in the root of
the FTP site, with the exact same name, that folder becomes the root of the

Hi All: Strange problem here. I have MSFTP running on Server 2003 sp1.
Anonymous access is blocked. "Do not isolate users" was used when setting up

allow only local users to have access. The problem is that the DC doesn't
have option to create local users.

We currently FTP from a XP Workstation up to a 2003 Server. With the XP
firewall on we are able to FTP smaller files. However, with larger files the
