Hi all

i am having more problems with the setup of ftp site in IIS 6.0 with
isolate users. And i have some doubts.

First, i don't work with the default site ftp. I stop the default site
and create new ftp site. Then, configure this site. I create the folder
of user, and i give permissions to the user about this folder. The
directory of the user is created with this path

\ftproot\LocalUser\{username}

The fpt site with isolate mode has now the correctly folder path, the
user has permissions and only remains me the connections. I had trying
all the possibilities and always i receive the same error.

530 user cannot login, home directory inaccessible.

What's happen?

Checkout my IIS Insider article for June 2006 (seems to be still live even
though it is now August) as I talk about the different modes and directories
needed for isolation modes.

It can depend on the account the user is using such as a Domain Account.

I hope it makes sense to you after reading the article.

I assume you using standard isolation. so double check the folder permission
again.
also get filemon from sysinternals.com to trace where does IIS FTP sending
the user to.
