File Transfer Question DJ

iis ftp: Hello:

Quick question. Having some issues with zip files being corrupt after being
downloaded. Files on the server are ok but are occassionally unable to be
unzipped....CRC errors. I've read where this is probably caused by noise
somewhere in the transmission path...ie. patch chord, T1 etc.

My question. Is it possible for let's say a 1500 byte packet to pass CRC yet
be corrupt? It seems to me that there would be errors popping up somewhere
along the line if there was a bad packet due to corruption

I have not experience this with IIS FTP.
If you have realtime antivirus scan, that might cause it potentially.
