ftp download hangs server -- iis ftp

Hi,

I am using Windows 2003 + sp1 and IIS 6. I configured ftp site and able to
upload the file successfuly but when i try to download that file the server
hangs and disconnect all network connections.
Note: In case of small files (500 KB approx) it is working fine for download
and upload.

Please let me know is there any setting for specifing the file size in IIS 6.

Not really, IIS FTP is very simple and don't have the sophisticated setting.
how about downloading it locally at the server box via ftp.exe

or can you get a decent ftp client that able to resume download?
