can connect with internal ip but not address -- iis ftp

Hello,

I'm running Windows 2003 small business server.

I setup an ftp site and I'm able to connect when outside of the company's
lan. When I try to connect internally, I get "the server name or address
could not be resolved The connection with the server was reset."
I can however connect with the internal IP address, 10.0.0.1.

Any help is appreciated.

You meant - you can connect internally via the external ip?
if yes, this could be routing problem... not really IIS FTP, since IIS FTP
is working from external conection.
