Non-technical staff to download website pages securely Roger Withnell

iis ftp:
My sales people have laptops with which to demonstrate our websites offline.

They have a copy of the web pages in the laptop and demonstrate the website
using localhost.

When we update the website, I need to download the latest webpages to the
laptops.

I could use an ftp client to do this from the laptop, but I would need to
make sure that the non-technical sales people could only download by
preferably clicking one button.

Is there an ftp client that I can set up like this? Or should I tackle the
problem another way?

If this is the wrong newsgroup for this question, perhaps you could direct
me to the correct one?

Thanking you in anticipation.

Well, most the commercial FTP client are GUI base, so it should be simple
for them to click a few button and download files.
Or you can create ftp script file at their laptop and have them run the
batch file.

either way this only automatic the download process, if error such as
network connection issue, you will still need to help troubleshoot for them.
