iis ftp: How can I check from an ASP page whether I am able to connect to a
particular FTP site or not. If not I could try to connect through HTTP.

This will help me to decide whether I should use FTP or HTTP for file
uploading.

Well, you can get some sort of ftp component for asp, and check it there.
