hello,

i have Windows Server 2003 with ftp service running, in the system log i
get the message: "IIS logging was unable to create the directory
\\computername\fullpath\MSFTPSVC1. the data is the error.

I setup the log for web site and Ok. but for ftp sites failed
the storage for ftp logs is a remote computer.
Any idea?

Ooh... haven't try this before.
what is the data in the error section?

I would assume you have the same permission setup for both w3svc and
msftpsvc log path.
if you run filemon on the remote computer, can you check what user it is
using to write ? is it same for w3svc?

Thanks for you anwers,

the data in error section is:
(bytes) 0000: 7b 00 00 00 {...
(word) 0000: 0000007b

i can't check the user on remote store because is a network appliance
storage device. I can setup ntfs permissions on these folder.
