FTP Folder permission

FTP Folder permission Motley

iis ftp: I have a weird problem which I cannot figure out. We have a FTP site setup
for a client. They can create a folder in their FTP site and upload files
and folder to it. The problem is that any folder that is created under the
folder that they create in their FTP directory gives them an access denied.
When I look at the permission on that folder their user does not have access
to it at all. If I manually add their user it works fine. I will show the
directory structure so that hopefully it can be understood.

FTP
(User Created Folder) OK
(User Created Folder) OK
Cannot put files here (access denied)
Files OK

Create folder in main FTP directory is ok
Create folder and place files into user created directory under the main FTP
folder is ok.
Cannot place any files into 2nd level created folder.

Thanks for any help.

Interesting... could be the permission not inherited from the parent path.
I do a quick test in my XP, user as local admin :) can't repro the error.
