Setting up FTP Isolating Users using AD Ted

iis ftp:
I am trying to setup an FTP site and Isolate Users Using AD for my users.
When I go through the Create New FTP Site Wizard. I enter my username,
domain and password at the prompts. Those all work fine, but when I am
finishing the process I get the message "You were not connected because a
duplicate name exists on the network. Go to System in Control Panel to
change the computer name and try again." And of course the site creation
wizard fails.

I have also tried to create the site using scripts but it fails as well.
Will I really have to change the computer name on the Server that I am trying
to install the site into, this will be a big deal as the Server is hosting an
Intranet site that is critical.

the Server I am trying to install the ftp site on is Windows Server 2003,
SP2, All new updates are applied. This server is a member server in a 2003
AD Domain with several DC's and AD Integrated DNS servers.

Can anyone help with this issue I am having?

Thanks
