Authentication took place 1) when user login in 2) when ftp send the user to
auth 2) happen in the background with no user interaction. it depends on
your configuration.
if it's domain, then domain account auth. or in workgroup if using
per your request. I think I will put the user directly on the storage
just curious... why not run ftp directly on storage cluster?
