Hi, I am trying to login to www3.sympatico.ca/. As suggested by sympatico I
tried using Explorer 7, and filling in the login box with username and
Password. The Login box disappears and returns, instead of going to the
directory ?

I tried using a FTP software and I got a 530 login error.

I am using Windows Vista,firewall,and defender, plus AVG virus scanner. The
FTP program is using port 21. I mention this because I expect I am having a
conflict with one of these items ?

Well, talk to sympatico.ca then. your account can't login with 530 error.
why? only they will know and able to fix it.

I can ftp to the site, but it then disconnect me since i'm not connecting
via Bell sympatico.
