Allowing specific groups to log into ftp virtual directories -- iis ftp

I want to make it so that i can only allow certain user groups to login in
to specific virtual directories under my main ftp site. These groups are
the same as those who are allowed to access the physical directories called
by the virtual directories in windows.

Well, restrict the access via NTFS permissions.
virtual directory is for mapping usage, you can't control access per user or
group level.
you can however, decide if the vdir can be read or write at the vdir
property page.
